Tub People was a film set to be produced by Universal Animation Studios and Gingo Animation. Based on 1989 children book of same name by Pam Conrad, film was originally set to be released in 2001, but was shelved in 2000 due to script issues.
Premise[]
During an unseen child bath time, 7 members of a wood toy family ride on float soap and compete in swim races. But after near loss of Tub Child down drain, they are all reunited on a warm bed, where they mountain climb on ridges formed by soft quilts.

Film was 1 announced in 1998 as co production between Universal and Gingo Animation during production of Paint World. By September 1999, Universal set film for a 2001 release date. However, in 2000 not even 1 year before it proposed release, it was put on hold because of script issues. Then, it was eventually cancelled.

- Had it been released, film would have likely been released in 2001 possibly around June or July, with Mistress Masham Repose, another Universal animated film, taking it March 2001 spot.
