This is the first Universal Animation Studios film to use the new 2012 Universal Pictures logo that was first used for Illumination's The Lorax since Universal abandoned the 1997 logo in favor of the new 2012 logo. The 1997 Universal logo was used in some trailers, TV spots and posters for the movie, however.
It is also the only Universal Animation Studios film to have the "100th Anniversary" text below the Universal logo when Universal was celebrating its 100th anniversary at the time. From Luna & Zak (2013) onwards, the "100th Anniversary" text is removed from the new Universal logo.
This is the first Universal Animation film to air on FX channels instead of other channels like Disney Channel and ABC Family (now Freeform).
