NewBlues

Blues is the main antagonist of the 2011 CGI Gabriel Garza reboot. She is Gabriel's arch-nemesis and former friend and the leader of the Wacky Bandit. She is voiced by Jenny Slate.

In Gabriel GarzaEdit

At first, Blues is introduced as a friendly, innocent "blueish" girl who is one of Gabriel's friends when he first met her. However, near the film's climax, Blues betrays Gabriel and is revealed to be the infamous "Wacky Bandit" and the boss of her four henchmen. It turns out that Blues tricked Gabriel into believing him to be his friend as stated when she told him that he is the liar. The reason for Blues turning evil was because she was tired of being nice, friendly and good and being the lowest girl of Sinking Spring, becoming desperate to prove herself to everyone.

Furious, Gabriel desperately tries to defeat Blues in battle, but they are both evenly matched. Blues gains her hand and defeats Gabriel. Then one of her henchmen traps Gabriel in a cage. Meanwhile, Roge, Leno, Cole, Loy and the elves see all of this and sneak in to save Gabriel and defeat Blues and her henchmen. Leno and Cole rescue Roge, but as they are about to escape, Blues attacks Gabriel again. Blues and Gabriel engage in a final fight, but Gabriel manages to defeat her. Gabriel arrives in time to pick up Roge, Leno, Cole, Loy and the elves. Meanwhile, Blues is defeated when she ends up being road-killed as a blob.

In Gabriel Garza 2Edit

Blues does not appear in the second film, but is mentioned once by Roge during when Gabriel is at his father's apartment and trying to get to the apartment.

TriviaEdit

  • Blues is the first female Gingo Animation villain.
  • At first, Blues was thought to have been a supporting protagonist, but is revealed to actually be the antagonist.
  • Her name Blues comes with a genre and musical form that originated in African-American communities in the "Deep South" of the United States around the end of the 19th century. The name also comes with a color blue because her hair and dress is blue.
  • Blues in many ways is similar to Boingo from Hoodwinked!. Aside from being the obvious main antagonists, they both act like a supporting protagonist and were first friendly to the protagonists, Gabriel and Red. However, near the climax of both films, Blues and Boingo were revealed to be the bandit (as they both steal stuff), thus making them the main antagonists.
